FAQ
When choosing a sofa bed, focus on what really matters: a supportive mattress, a smooth and easy conversion mechanism, and accurate measurements of your space in both sofa and fully extended bed form. If it’s going to be used often, look for a sturdy metal frame paired with memory foam or pocket-spring support, so it feels just as comfortable for sitting as it does for sleeping.
A good rule of thumb is to choose a coffee table that’s about two-thirds the length of your sofa and roughly the same height as the sofa seat, or a few inches lower. Leave around 30 to 45 cm of space between the sofa and the table so there’s enough room to move comfortably without squeezing past.
The 2-2-1 sofa rule is a simple, tried-and-tested formula for styling five cushions in a way that feels balanced and considered. Start with two larger foundation cushions, layer in two smaller contrasting ones for depth, and finish with a single accent or lumbar cushion at the centre. The result is a sofa that looks thoughtfully styled without feeling overdone.
Both the Agnes and Hamilton are designed to make the switch from sofa to sleeper feel effortless, but the better fit depends on what matters most to you.
