What is the difference between a headboard and a bed frame?
A headboard is the part of the bed that goes behind the head, generally up against a wall. It is there to provide support and aesthetic appearance to your bed. It can either be incorporated into the bed frame or be separate from it. The bed frame itself is the wooden structure that supports the mattress, usually standing on legs or as a divan.
What is the most comfortable type of bed frame?
It depends on what you are looking for from a bed. But a great option is to go for a fabric covered bed. This adds warmth and comfort with a soft touch finish and can also form part of your bedroom colour scheme.
Do you deliver fabric bed frames and bases to all parts of the country?
Does Castlery offer free shipping?
Yes, Castlery provides free standard delivery under certain conditions:
- Orders of $300 and Above: Free standard delivery includes delivery to your room of choice and full assembly (except for accessory items such as mirrors and lighting) during non-peak delivery times. This offer is applicable within Singapore only.
- Multiple Deliveries: For orders consisting of items arriving at different times due to different manufacturing schedules, you may opt for multiple delivery trips. However, if the value of items for each delivery is less than $300, an additional delivery fee will apply.
It's important to note that delivery charges are based on each shipment rather than per order. If your order requires multiple shipments to complete, and the value of any single shipment falls below $300, additional delivery fees will be incurred unless each individual shipment meets the free delivery conditions.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?
When you place an order with Castlery, the 'Estimated Delivery' displayed on each product page provides a date range indicating when you can expect your items to arrive (from manufacturing to our warehouse, and the final delivery to your address).
During checkout, you'll select an estimated delivery date frame, and as that date approaches, you will receive an SMS and an email with a link to schedule the actual delivery date and time slot, based on availability.
Please enter your zip code when prompted for a more precise delivery estimate. Keep in mind, while we strive to meet these timelines, there may be occasional delays due to unforeseen circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and are committed to delivering your order as promptly as possible.
What payment methods does Castlery accept?
Castlery accepts a variety of payment methods for your convenience, including Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express), cheque, bank transfer, and digital wallet payments (Google Pay and Paypal). All payments must be made in SGD, and goods will only be dispatched once full payment has been received by Castlery.
You also have the flexibility to split your payment across multiple cards or combine cash and credit card payments. For customers interested in manageable payment options, we offer interest-free installment plans for purchases over $500 using OCBC, Amex, UOB, DBS/POSB, or Standard Chartered credit cards.
Please note that interest-free installments with Standard Chartered credit cards are exclusively available for purchases made in our showroom.
Do you offer a warranty on your furniture?
Absolutely. Castlery stands behind the quality of our fabric bed frames and upholstered beds with a comprehensive warranty policy that covers manufacturing defects. We provide a range of warranties for our products, ensuring customers receive support and assurance with their purchases. Here’s a breakdown:
- Mattresses: Come with a 10 Year Limited Warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship. It does not cover fabric issues (stains, burns, pilling, or loose covers), normal body indentations, comfort preference complaints (such as the mattress being too firm or too soft), or new bed smell/odour as these are considered normal or subjective issues that don't indicate a manufacturing fault.
- Beds: These are under a 3 Year Limited Warranty.
- Wooden Bed Frames: Offer an extended 1 Year Limited Warranty.
Can I cancel my order after it has been confirmed?
Yes, we understand that circumstances change – you can cancel your fabric bed or upholstered bed order after confirmation, but it's crucial to act quickly. Please notify Castlery at least 5 business days before the scheduled delivery date to cancel without incurring additional charges. Contact Castlery before your shipment is processed to avoid charges. Cancellations made within 5 business days of the delivery date will be subject to a 20% restocking fee per item.
All refunds will take 7 business days to process and will be credited back to the original mode of payment. However, Castlery reserves the right to change the mode of refund.
