I love the look of this bed and also the functionality! It took us a few hours to set up not 90 mins like it says in the directions. But it was easy to set up as long as you go step by step and be mindful with the process. I can’t wait to store things underneath! It did seem a bit stiff and heavy with the lift mechanism but at least it’s not loose. The only thing that I’d complain about is the fabric cover not fitting well and won’t zip up all the way. We tried fitting it multiple times.

Table is a problem
While this set is attractive, the table is a problem. This wood is highly absorbent and has not been treated to repel anything. We had a small drop of wine fall on the top and it has already stained the table. Basic eating and drinking will mar the top. This set has to be sealed before it is even able to be used. I would look for a different table option. The seats are also not quite deep enough for anyone over 5 ft 6.

Love the Seb!
I was deciding between this and another sideboard for closed storage in my living room. I'm so glad I went with the Seb. It's an beautiful piece of furniture and it holds quite a bit. I discovered an issue with one of the drawers not staying on the track. Customer service got back to me promptly. They asked for photos of the issue and then sent someone out to repair it (he adjusted the railing tracks). I couldn't be happier with both the customer service and the piece!

Very Happy with Purchase
I purchased the Sloane Sideboard from Castlery and I’m very happy with it—beautiful piece and great quality. There was a small scuff on one of the doors, but customer service was excellent. Rep named Ain was friendly, helpful, and quickly arranged to send me a wood marker to fix it. Overall, a great experience.
Can Work with Harper Large Sideboard
We were worried the small hutch wouldn't work with the large sideboard, but it does! We were able to fasten it securely with a very simple mod (a small block of wood). They don't make a large hutch option, but I really wanted the hutch with the large sideboard so I'm glad it worked out.
Beautiful Sideboard
I absolutely love this sideboard. It's a real statement piece. Just by existing it demands attention, and rightfully so. The sliding doors are truly satisfying. There's a ton of storage capacity. It's just perfect. The website doesn't have a same-sized Harper Hutch to go with it, but we ordered the Small Hutch and we're still able to attach it and make it work.
