Guarantees

Castlery guarantees that all our furniture is free from defective materials and workmanship. Guarantee periods vary by product, commencing from the date of delivery and are defined in the table under Section 3. Guarantee Period.

If, during the guarantee period, a product is deemed defective due to a manufacturing defect, Castlery will repair or replace part(s), at Castlery’s sole discretion. This Guarantee covers the replacement or repair of any product or part of any product that has a manufacturing or material defect that is not the result of normal wear and tear, customer misuse, alternative handling, or a natural characteristic of the material used.

1. Claim procedure

For claims, please email our helpful Customer Care team at help.uk@castlery.com, making sure to include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or videos of the defective product.

2. Limitations and exception

• Proper care, usage and maintenance are essential to preserving your rights under this Guarantee. This Guarantee does not apply if your Castlery furniture is damaged from the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents.
• This Guarantee does not cover defects or damage resulting from negligence, abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, natural disasters, or accidents: including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or damage from pets.
• Castlery furniture that is not explicitly specified suitable for outdoor use is not covered for damage or defect from outdoor use under this Guarantee.
• Comfort is subjective to the individual and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
• Any product modifications by the consumer or other parties not authorized by Castlery will void this Guarantee.
• This Guarantee does not cover items marked as ‘AS-IS’ or any form of display items at the time of purchase.
• This Guarantee is non-transferable, and does not cover items not purchased directly from Castlery.
• Castlery’s decision on all issues relating to complaints regarding defects, either of workmanship or materials, shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Castlery’s sole discretion.
• Any item repaired or replaced under this Guarantee will be covered for the remaining period of the original guarantee period only.
• This Guarantee covers in respect of manufacturing defects detected within the guarantee period, the cost of material components, replacement parts, labour and transportation charges.
• In respect of manufacturing defects detected after the guarantee period, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labour charges and transportation costs (if any) are to be covered by the consumer.

3. Guarantee period

The quality of our furniture is of utmost importance to us at Castlery. We conduct stringent in-house quality inspections of our products to ensure that your beloved furniture pieces last a long time. You may refer to the table below for the Guarantees we provide for your items.
