DELIVERY SERVICE AND TIMESLOTS

For mailbag orders items e.g Lighting, Cushion, Rugs, Homeware, which are typical in small packaging sizes, we dispatch these orders to our logistic partners to process the delivery. On the day of delivery, you will get a notification via SMS or call. If you are not there to take the delivery, you may choose to reschedule to a different date, get it collected by your apartment security, or send to a local post office for collection.

For orders like furniture, they are delivered by our in-home delivery service. Deliveries will be made into your room of choices. We will assemble the items, and packaging will be removed upon your request.

Our in-home deliveries will be scheduled into different timeslots (e.g, 10am to 1pm, 1pm to 4pm, 4pm to 6pm, 6pm to 8pm), and we’re unable to deliver at specific timing (like 10am, 4pm).

ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL

Shipping your items on time is extremely important to us. We do our best to provide exact estimated delivery dates so that you are able to receive your items on time.

To provide you with a great product at the best value, our products are made to order. This eliminates the need for expensive warehousing bills and allows us to pass the savings on you; therefore it takes longer to reach your home. But rest assured, our products are worth the wait.

Our delivery charges are intended to cover the processing of your order, handling and packing the products, and finally delivering them to you. For orders above $300, delivery will be free.

MULTIPLE DELIVERIES FOR ONE ORDER

Our items are produced by a number of manufacturers; therefore they will arrive our distribution center at different times. If you would like your items to be separated into multiple delivery trips, additional delivery fee applies when items for each trip is less than $300 in value.

INCORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESS

All undelivered orders will be returned to our distribution center and restocked. To reschedule for a delivery to the correct delivery address, we will contact you to arrange for the next available delivery with a restocking fee of 10% for orders valued below S$500, or cap at S$100 for orders valued equivalent or above S$500.

RESCHEDULING OF DELIVERY

Customers may reschedule the delivery 72 hours before the delivery date subjected to availability of next delivery slot. For rescheduling of delivery within 72 hours of agreed delivery, Castlery will charge a restocking fee of 10% for orders valued below S$500, or cap at S$100 for orders valued equivalent or above S$500.

RECEIVING ITEMS

On delivery, customer or 3rd party appointed by the customer shall inspect the item(s) and the surroundings carefully before our carrier leaves the premise. Any damage detected should be immediately reported to the carrier and noted on the delivery copy. You will also need to email us at help@castlery.com and provide a detailed description of fault and photos (or video, where appropriate) showing the damage or fault. We will then reply within 3 working days. In the event an exchange for the defect piece cannot be made, Castlery reserves the rights to offer a substitute or full refund. All replacement of item(s) will depend on the next available shipment. Castlery shall not be liable for any consequences (whether direct or indirect) of the delay in the delivery of the goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by Castlery or to any comparison. If customer do not want to inspect the goods or surroundings on delivery and signed their acceptance in the delivery copy, customer agree the delivery copy is then evidence of the condition of the goods and surroundings as at the time of delivery. Hence any new defects findings at a later stage will not be entertained.

NOT PRESENT TO RECEIVE DELIVERY

We dispatch small packaging size orders through our logistic partners to process the delivery. On the day of delivery, you will get a notification via SMS or a call. If you are not there to take the delivery, you may choose to reschedule to a different date, get it received by your apartment security or door step. If items are returned to our distribution center, our Logistics team will reschedule for another delivery or a refund, with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoice valued below S$500, or S$100 per delivery order for invoice valued above S$500. This restocking fee also applies for in-home delivery services (bulky delivery).

REFUSAL OF ENTRY BY BUILDING MANAGEMENT

Should the building management rejects admittance of our in-home delivery, delivery will be rescheduled accordingly with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoice valued below S$500, or S$100 per delivery order for invoice valued above S$500. Castlery reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subject to availability of next delivery slot. Customer is require to place any deposit to the building management for moving goods into their premises otherwise Castlery reserve the right to refund, with a restocking fee of 10% per delivery order for invoice valued below S$500, or S$100 per delivery order for invoice valued above S$500.

UNABLE TO ACCESS THE ELEVATOR

We agree to deliver goods to you on the understanding reasonable access is available. It is your responsibility to check measurements to ensure your goods will fit in intended areas. If reasonable access is unavailable or it becomes hazardous (i.e. items prone to damage on narrow stairway, obstruction of passageway); we reserve the right to cancel the delivery. All items to be returned to us shall be restocked and refunded, less delivery and restocking fee. Should we proceed with the delivery in a non-hazardous condition, additional charges per item will be as follows:

a) First non-lift-accessible storey (e.g. staircase delivery from ground floor) is free.

b) S$10 per item per subsequent non lift-accessible storey will be collected. This fee will also be applicable to stairs within landed properties or HDB maisonette.

DELAYED DELIVERY DUE TO UNFORESEEN SITUATIONS

a) In the event of delay in shipment due to unforeseen situations, Castlery reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subjected to availability of next delivery slot.

b) No specific time of delivery can be provided. A time frame will be advised but cannot be guaranteed.

c) Castlery shall not be liable for any consequences or any loss suffered or expenses incurred (whether direct or indirect) due to the delay in the shipment / delivery of the goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by Castlery or to any comparison.
